There is a particular type of voucher called the Auto Voucher.
This is a voucher which fills up over time and then, once complete, automatically becomes a redeemable voucher. You set the number of visits or purchases required. At the point of sale, you can decide how many purchases, or stamps, to mark on the voucher. Find out more about this by using the app in your store.
- First, click the voucher button in the vertical menu on the left side and select “Create a new campaign. “
- You will be presented with the Your Voucher Campaign window.
- You can select any voucher to represent what the card is worth when it is complete. It could be a discount, fixed money, or a free product. In our case, we will select a giveaway for a free coffee cup after ten purchases.
- In the product, we put “Free Coffee”.
- Giveaway Address is an optional field for non-Auto-Voucher Giveaways, where the redemption is at a specific address. In our case, we don’t need it.
- In the second column, in the description field, we write precisely what this promotion is: a free coffee after ten purchases.
- In Requirement, we don’t have any as the system is automated, but just for clarity, we will state that the customer needs to present their QR code (which is on their phone).
- For the campaign picture. let’s choose a picture of a Cappuccino.
- In the third column in the calendar, we will set the voucher to expire in a year. If they don’t come ten times in one year, then they are hardly loyal customers!
- Finally, let’s turn this into an Auto Voucher. Hit the on/off switch where it says Auto Voucher.
- I am going to select ten visits or purchases from the drop-down. You can manually set the number of “stamps” or “punches” they receive when they pay.
- Finally, I will leave “One Voucher Per Customer” UNCHECKED. This means that when the voucher is redeemed, a replacement will automatically be sent to the customer if a voucher allowance remains that month.
- The screen now looks like this:
